The Infinite Forbidden was recently announced at the Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL MONSTERS The Legend of Duelist QUARTER CENTURY event held at Tokyo Dome in Japan, bringing the game back to where it all began with a new strategy featuring the unstoppable Exodia!

By revealing the 5 Exodia pieces in your hand or Deck, or by having them on the field, you can summon an all-new "Exodia" Fusion Monster! It can't be destroyed by card effects, and can add your current hit points to its attack points every turn! This boost never fades, so if your opponent manages to survive Exodia's onslaught, he'll have to face a stronger Exodia next turn! Thanks to its mastery of ancient powers, this new Exodia Fusion can cancel 1 Spell or Trap activation of your choice, every turn, free of charge, AND it retrieves an Exodia-themed Spell/Trap from your Deck every turn for YOU to use, also free of charge.

In Ancient Egypt, the Pharaoh and his priests fought with spirit monsters, summoning them from large stone tablets to strike down their enemies! L'Infini Interdit introduces a new theme that simulates this method of combat: First, you place your "tablet" monster on the field as a Magic Card. Next, you infuse it with your life force (or life points, in this case!) to specially summon it to the field as a monster! Each of these invocations is a Special Invocation, so you can save your Normal Invocation for something else!

If you don't like giving your life points to power these monsters, there's a new Special Magic Card to give you a bit of millennial magic - reveal it from your hand and you won't have to pay life points to summon monsters from their stones! And since revealing it doesn't get rid of it, you can do it again and again. This spell is also crucial for summoning the "Exodia" fusion monster!

Forbidden Infinite contains 100 new cards in all, for a variety of strategies, new and old, including an all-new world-premiere theme! It also continues the 25th anniversary celebration by including 25 secret quarter-century rare cards, including one special card.
