From August 20, limited quantities of Mystery Booster: Convention Edition will be available in WPN stores, with in-store play events organized wherever possible, offering an exclusive experience that players around the world can share.
But what is Mystery Booster? It's an incredible Chaos Draft-like experience that uses several Magic Draft boosters from different editions, but brings together the cards and variety you might find in one exceptional package. The set contains no fewer than 1,670 reprints from the entire history of the game, plus 121 copies of a surprising new feature: R&D Playtest cards that you'll find nowhere else but in Mystery Booster: Convention Edition. There are so many cards that you could fill an entire eight-person draft without seeing the same card twice.
Mystery Booster cards have the original symbols and numbering of one of their editions. The only difference is a Planeswalker symbol in the bottom left-hand corner, like the one you find on The List cards in Set boosters.
Each Mystery Booster: Convention Edition contains fifteen cards: fourteen from the impressive main set and one from the "new and surprising" group of R&D Playtest cards.
