2024 Topps Archives Signature Series Baseball Hobby Box
1 card per box
You won't find any freshly printed cards in the 2024 Topps Archives Signature Series Baseball Active Player Edition. While the cards themselves are not new, the autographs they contain are. These two autographs are the cornerstone of the line, as every card in this product is a buyback autograph.
Hobby boxes contain just one card. This is a card from Topps' past, probably acquired on the secondary market, which has since been signed. Cards can be old base cards or inserts from any line. Needless to say, the end result is eclectic.
And virtually impossible to catalog.
While Topps usually publishes player lists highlighting the people available in the product, the exact breakdown of signed cards and corresponding print runs has never been revealed.
No individual card in the product has more than 99 serially numbered copies. However, players can sign several different cards.
To help differentiate a card from the Archives Signature series from a random card that someone might have mailed in for autographing, Topps has added an aluminum seal. The year is also indicated in case the card in question has been used in a previous Archives Signature Series (it happens).
