The 2024-25 O-Pee-Chee Platinum Hockey series is a blend of old and new. It's based on one of the hobby's most historic brands, which also offers a retro series every year. Here, everything is revisited in a modern chromed style, paving the way for parallel rainbows, autographs and flashy inserts.

Hobby boxes contain a mix of all three, with a signature and at least one insert and parallel per pack.

The basic set includes a total of 300 cards: 200 veterans and 100 first-year Marquee Rookies. This is one of the few sets in the field hockey card season where the rookies are not limited edition cards. While this doesn't make them particularly valuable, they are easily accessible.

The parallels feature both color and pattern. Some have more photographic backgrounds. These include the following:

Autographs and other inserts
Rookie autographs make up most of the signatures on the 2024-25 O-Pee-Chee Platinum Hockey checklist. All are signed on the card.

Standard versions are 1:30 for hobby packs and 1:450 for blaster packs. Parallels include:

Retro makes its appearance in the O-Pee-Chee Hockey 2024-25 series, but with a reduced list of 100 cards. These cards are available in Rainbow (1:12 packs), Blue Luster (/100), Houndstooth (/15) and Golden Treasures (1/1) versions. There are also red autographs (veterans - 1:192 packs, recruits - 1:384 packs).

Other insert series include Power Playmakers (1:3 packs), Showmanship (1:4 packs) and Sweet Selections (1:4 packs). All feature additional parallels and autographs exclusive to collectors.
