Manon Rhéaume made history by becoming the first and only woman to play in an NHL exhibition game. She was signed by the Tampa Bay Lightning and played a game against the St. Louis 25 years ago today, on September 23, 1992. She became the first woman to play in one of North America's four major men's professional sports leagues. An inspiration to all girls who aspire to great honors. My painting was signed in April 2019 at Salon Anti-Expo in Montreal, Qc, Canada.
