Shiny Star V includes a large number of reprinted cards, with a particular focus on Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX. Many of the Pokémon included in the subset feature artwork previously exclusive to the English expansions and various derivative items. The subset also includes a large number of Shiny Pokémon, all of which are reprints of cards released during the Sword and Shield era, with a special holographic relief treatment. All regular Pokémon shiny cards feature different illustrations and are S rarity, while all Pokémon V shiny cards use their previous Full Art illustrations and are SSR rarity. With the exception of Amazing Rares, Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX.
