Every Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey Blaster 2023-24 box contains 4 packs with 12 cards in each pack!

Exciting changes! We've made some exciting changes to the Upper Deck series to deliver an even more engaging collecting experience! The changes:

A better ratio of inserted cards to base cards in each deck. Each pack now contains an average of three (3) inserts.

The introduction of a stunning parallel in the base set, which also means more Young Guns cards to hunt for!

And although we've changed the configuration (cards per pack/packs per box), each box still contains at least one (1) Young Guns card, on average.

Series 1 contains the first 250 cards of the Upper Deck 2023-24 base set. Annually, the Upper Deck base set is the most collected base set in field hockey. The set includes 198 veteran cards, 49 Young Guns cards (the most eagerly awaited rookie cards of the season!) and three control cards. And as mentioned above, we've added a stunning parallel to the core set - Outburst Silver!

Fans and collectors alike will be blown away by the UD Portraits cards! The latest version of this classic insert depicts stars and rookies like you've never seen them before! No two portraits are alike.

New insert sets! The latest edition of Series 1 features an impressive range of new inserts that will appeal to everyone from the casual fan to the avid collector:

200' x 85': Each card in this set depicts a player (star veteran or top rookie) against a rink background - both player and rink treated with Lite FX.

OPC Glossy: Once a Tin exclusive for rookies, we're now adding these popular, eye-catching cards to most of our retail products. We've also expanded the checklist to include some star veterans. Collect one (1) OPC Glossy card per box, on average, and keep an eye out for Gold parallels!

Special Edition: Each card features a star veteran or top recruit in an elegant design.

Star Surge: This series showcases rising stars.

Star Zone: This series features many of today's veteran stars.

Stat Box Fillers: The checklist is made up of current stars who regularly fill the stat sheet. Keep an eye out for rare gold parallels!

Teacher's Pet: Each card in this fun set is a player's "report card" and highlights the skill for which each player on the list is best known. In addition to the normal set, there's also a series of rare golden parallels.

UD Canvas, a long-standing favorite among collectors, returns with a collection of today's biggest gaming stars, as well as the best of Young Guns®. Series 1 contains the first 120 cards of this in-series set.

The popular Honor Roll and Dazzlers inserts are also back! Both are intra-series sets, and their Series 1 checklists feature only star veterans (collect rookies in Series 2!). Each box will contain, on average, one (1) Honor Roll card and one (1) Green Dazzlers card. Green Dazzlers cards are only available in certain Blasters and in the Starter Kit!

Keep an eye out for Debut Dates cards commemorating the first match of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 rookies!
