2023-24 Upper Deck Premier Hockey represents one of the greatest sports when it comes to super-premium cards. It's not quite The Cup, but it's the elite right below it. Four of the six cards in each box are hits: one autographed, one autographed and two commemorative. What's more, the checklist contains lots of on-card ink and top-of-the-range patch pieces.
The base set consists of 150 cards covering the game's past, present and future. The first 90 players are veterans and are numbered up to 299, followed by 10 great retired players who are only numbered up to 99. The last 50 cards are rookies numbered to 399.

Parallels for veterans and legends include gold (/65, legends /25), ruby (/35, legends /15) and platinum (1/1). For Rookies, it's even better with Bronze (/199), Gold (/65), Ruby (/49), Rose Gold (/25), Purple (/10) and Platinum (1/1).
Autographed Memorabilia cards
With an autographed card in every hobby box, it's no surprise that there are many styles to hunt for.
Rookie Auto Patch cards in acetate are undoubtedly the most popular. Depending on the player, they are numbered to 249 or 99 with additional gold parallels of no more than 65 each. Some players also have horizontal variations (/99 or less).
Veteran Auto Patch acetate inserts take a similar approach with more familiar names. Production numbers are also smaller, with a maximum of 49 each.
Other signature patch themes include Rookie Auto Patch 2023 (/99 or less), Rookie Auto Patch 2003-24 (/99 or less), Blossoming Talent Auto Patch (/99), World Notoriety Auto Patch (/50) and Premier Attention Auto Patch, all of which are numbered.
Additional autographs and Memorabilia cards
Among the inserts reserved for autographs in 2023-24 Upper Deck Premier Hockey are the exemplary stamps. The basic versions are among the most difficult cards in the product, with only 10 copies each. Gold, one copy in one, is the only parallel card.
On the Forefront Autographs (/125), Premier Focus Auto, and Premier Precipice Auto (1:10 packs) are among the other places to find ink on the checklist.
Premier's various Mega memorabilia cards are among the most popular in the sport. Supplied with giant swatches, versions include Jersey Duos (/49), Patch Duos (/25), Jersey Trios (/25), Patch Trios (/15), Jersey Quads (/15), Patch Quads (/5), Chest Logos, Commemorative Logos, Shoulder Logos, and Sleeve Numbers.
Rookie Patch-Taculars, in single or double versions, use oversized pieces of the chest logos and are issued in quantities of 25 each. Parallels include the Gold Shoulder Logo (/5) and the Black Adidas Logo (1/1).
In addition to their signed versions, Global Notoriety (1:10 packs) and On the Forefront (/199) have standard jersey versions with premium parallels.
Other relics on the list include Premier Attractions (/99 or less), Premier Gear Rookies (/99), Premier Dual Jerseys (/99), Premier Gear (/49), Premier Triple Jerseys (/25) and Premier Quad Jerseys (/15).
