2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball is the second release of the year for Topps' famous brand of prospects.

The popular line of MLB cards acts as an extension, of sorts, to 2023 Bowman Baseball, but with an all-chrome approach.

The 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball checklist again covers league stars and rookies in the basic 100-card set.

There are also WBC Flag parallels in honor of the 2023 World Baseball Classic.

Rookie Short Print Image Variation cards are only in Hobby boxes with the all-new Rookie Color Run Variation base (#/23). The cards feature a "captivating tie-dye team design".

In addition, Topps has announced legendary "1st Bowman" editions for all-time greats Babe Ruth, Johnny Bench and Roberto Clemente. These are the new Chrome Prospect Retrofractor Variations (#/50) cards. Each player has 81 cards in total, with an additional 81 signed versions for Bench.

Topps also noted that "each Retrofractor player only gets one chance for their 1st Bowman" before being retired from Bowman products.

There are also 100 names in the Chrome Prospect series with "1st Bowman" subjects. Look for the Refractor parallel multiples of each card.

The 2022 AFL Fall Stars (1:6 packs), 2022 AFL MVP Short Print and Bowman Invicta (1:24 packs) sets all return for 2023, while Bowman Ascensions (1:144 packs) features a collaboration with artist Jeremy Fish.
