The Cup was originally a derivative of Upper Deck's Exquisite Collection in other sports, but even though the product bears a different name, Exquisite Collection is still very much present.
Once again, Exquisite Collection makes an appearance in the series, with regular inserts (/99) and Black Gold Autographs (/25). Black parallels come in a variety of numbers, and 1/1 Black Gold Autographs are back.
Rookie Patch Autos also continue in the Exquisite section - including 1/1 NHL Shield versions.
Splendor Patches (/36) are back, including autographed versions (/36) and autographed rookie versions (/36).
Other returning favorites include:
Color Coded (/35), Cup Foundations Quads (Veterans - /49, Recruits - /99), Emblems of Endorsement (/15), Enshrinements (varied numbering), Limited Logos (/50), Logomarks (1:10 packs), Materialisticks (/25 and /15 Autographed), Noble Nameplates (varied numbering) and Renditions Relics (1:12).
Upper Deck also offers several new concepts to discover.
Elegant Etchings starts as an insert (/199) but also has autographed versions (1:9 packs). These cards feature artistic illustrations of the players.
Another well-designed insert (/50), transformed into an autographed series (/25), is Lavish. Featuring current stars, rookies and legends, these cards use black and white photos for a simple design that stands out in a product usually defined by very colorful patches.
Patron Patches (various numberings) feature large pieces of premium memorabilia in a classic horizontal design that fits perfectly with The Cup's style. Autographed versions are also available.
The rarest cards in the new series are the Autographed Monumental Puck Booklets (1/1). Match-used and dated pucks, signed and inserted in these booklets, create a spectacular collector's item.
