Focused on NHL premium cards, 2023-24 SPx Hockey continues the format of five cards per box, one of them an autograph and the others relics or bases/inserts.

Upper Deck's annual product features rookie phenom Connor Bedard and more.

As last year, the SPx Hockey 2023-24 checklist starts with 100 veterans (#1-100) and 100 rookies (#101-200), with each basic version numbered in series of 299. Parallax Purple versions (#/149) make their appearance among the parallels.

Inserts fill the rest of the non-hit selection for SPx Hockey 2023-24.

Returning options are Finite Rookies (#/799), Radiance FX (#/949) and SPx Force quads (1:200).

With only 99 copies in the main level, Hardwired for Success covers 15 young stars. Another new hunt is Starscape Shadow Box, with an assortment of veteran (1:25) and rookie (1:15) names in the 50-card deck. These cards feature rainbow foil patterns with a PETG cover.

As usual, the 2023-24 SPx Hockey checklist is packed with autographs. Look out for signed versions of some of the veterans and rookies in the basic set.

The Rookie Auto Jersey series, another brand staple, comes in three levels limited to 375 examples or less, with rare crested versions.

Honoring the design's 20th anniversary, fans can find throwback cards in 2003-04 SPx Rookie Autographed Jersey (#/99).

Seasoned NHL stars get in on the action with game-worn relics and autographs in SPx Signature fabrics (#/99 or less).

From there, the 2023-24 UD Black Hockey line acts as a set within a set for the 2023-24 SPx Hockey line.

The UD Black Obsidian Rookies line (#/199) is complemented by Gold (#/99) and Emerald (#/30) versions.

For hits, familiar lines like Lustrous Rookies Signatures (#/299 or less) and Obsidian Scripts (1:80) are joined by new choices, like Black Steel Signatures (1:240).

Souvenirs make another appearance in SPx Hockey 2023-24 with the popular UD Black Lustrous RPA cards (#/125 or less) and Clarity variants (#/15). Pride of a Nation Patch Auto cards (#/99 or less) are also back.

Collectors can also look out for standard UD Black relics, thanks to Obsidian (#/99) and Obsidian Rookies Jersey (#/149).
