Case of 12 boxes

Parkhurst Champions Hockey 2023-24 has a decidedly retro feel. Sometimes it's about resurrecting old designs, while other times it's about creating something new that strives to recreate the atmosphere of a bygone era. As for the players, the list goes in all directions, with the usual veterans, a dose of rookies and a few big names from the past.

What you'd expect from a hobby box (on average):

  • Autographs or Memorabilia Cards - 1 Total
  • '52 Retro - 3
  • Burnin' Rubber, Daddy-O Flows, Goal Driven or Wire Images - 4 Total
  • Color Variations - 2
  • Rainbow Parallels - 4
  • Gold Rainbow Parallels - 1
  • Base Short Prints - 4

Among the expected contents of each hobby box is either an autograph or a memorial card. The majority of packs include a standard insert or parallel card.

Like many Upper Deck sets, the basic set is divided into thematic sections and includes a few short prints.

The shell set represents the majority of the checklist, with 220 cards. Thirty Rookies are 1:7.5 packs each, while 30 Legends are 1:15 packs.

Parallels include:

  • Silver - 1:3 packs, Rookies - 1:30 packs, Legends - 1:60 packs
  • Color Variation - 1:22 packs, Rookies - 1:300 packs, Legends - 1:600 packs
  • Red - /52
  • Black - /10
  • Printing Plates - 1/1

The main set is also the basis for many of the product's autographs and memorial cards. For the base, there are autographs (1:60 packs), jerseys (1:120 packs, Rookies - 1:340 packs), badges (/25), car badges (/25, Rookies - /35) and blue autographs (/15).

Rookie SPs have Autographs (1:180 packs), Jersey (1:240 packs), Auto Patch (/35) and Blue Autographs (/25).

Basic Legends are hard to come by, with Autographs landing in 1:720 packs and Jerseys in 1:1,500 packs. There are also Blue Autographs (/15), Premium Relics (/10) and Premium Auto Memorabilia (/10).

The Parkhurst 2023-24 Champions Hockey Checklist goes back to some of the early days of Parkhurst with the '52 Retros'. These are inspired by Parkhurst Hockey 1952-53 in terms of their minimalist design, but with updated players. Standard versions are 1:8 packs with Gold Rainbow (1:40 packs) and Printing Plates (1/1) available as well as Autographs (1:360 packs, Rookies - 1:360 packs, Legends - 1:1,920 packs) and Red Autographs (/5).

Wire Images (1:34 packs) are back, evoking the days when newspaper photos were for many the only images they saw of matches. Gold (/349) and printing plates (1/1) are the parallels, with some cards also accompanied by autographs (/15).

The checklist contains some difficult inserts. Legendary Captains (1:1,200 packs) feature some of the finest players ever to wear the "C" on the front of their jerseys. The Original Six Retros have a staggered approach with common versions landing in 1:480 packs and short runs of 1:2,160.

New insert themes include Goal Driven (1:15 packs), Burnin' Rubber (1:17 packs) and Daddy-O Flows (1:25 packs). All themes are accompanied by Gold (/349) and Printing Plates (1/1) versions, plus rare autographs.
