Covering the NHL's top rookies and veterans, Upper Deck 2023-24 ice hockey is enhanced by acetate designs and on-card signatures. Returning favorites include Ice Premieres rookies and various inserts from the Exquisite collection.

Hobby boxes average one hit, which can be an autograph or relic card, as well as multiple parallels and inserts.
2023-24 Upper Deck Ice Hockey starts with 100 veterans (3 per pack) and 50 rookies (1 per pack) in the basic set. These are rookie cards without acetate.
There is one green parallel per pack and three purple parallels per box.
The 2023-24 Upper Deck Ice Hockey checklist continues with the subset of Ice Premieres acetates for cards #150 to #250. The tiered levels are numbered 999 or less and each box should produce two Ice Premieres cards.
There are also serially numbered parallels at 799 copies or less, plus Ice Premieres Autographs (#/199 or less) and Ice Premieres Auto Patch cards (50 cards; #/10).

Opting for a triangular design, Depth of Winter (1:6 packs) sticks to the seasonal approach for the best-known names.
Frozen in Ice (1:24 packs) tears up the acetate cards of the Ice Premieres Mini rookie house.
Other hits falling under the 2023-24 Upper Deck Ice Hockey banner include Glacial Graphs (1:288 packs), Signature Swatches (1:576 packs) and Sub-Zero Rookie Autos.
Black parallels display silver ink for Glacial Graphs, some of which feature inscriptions, and add patches to Signature Swatches.
