Like most of their offerings for the sport, each 2022 Leaf Art of Hockey card is either an autograph or a commemorative card. However, it's all wrapped up in the art theme. From the original pieces created for the set to the themes of the inserts, the masters act as a source of inspiration for the subjects and designs.

Each box includes four cards.

2022 Leaf Art of Hockey - Checklist overview

As with 2021 Leaf Art of Sport, the checklist includes a mix of legends, superstars and names not seen in many products. It also covers several generations of field hockey players.

The basic autographs include hand-drawn images and are surrounded by intricate aluminum frames. Players have two cards, a portrait and an action shot, not to mention multiple levels of parallelism.

Other signature themes include Art of a Champion, Imagestic and Walk on Water.

Visual art cards bring an element of autographed memorabilia to the checklist.

Multi-signature themes are featured in Iconography, The Rule of 3 and Quadography.

Many of the product's commemorative cards offer ample sample quantities.

Objet d'art and Paint by Numbers feature several relics from the same player, two and three pieces respectively.

Retired Remnants presents two players, both of whom shared the same jersey number that has since been retired by their respective teams.

8 Wonders of the World and Enshrined Exhibit both feature pieces from eight different players.

Museum Materials makes its debut with large samples.

There's also Artis Opus. Each of these pieces is one-of-a-kind and includes a unique, large-scale memorial piece.
